SRL Team | this cultivar is known as 'Tina' in Australia. The name was extended for two reasons: 1) the Alfred Graser cultivar 'Wintermarchen' was incorrectly referred to in the past as 'Tina'. 2) the flower of this cultivar bears a remarkable similarity to the Netherland cultivar 'Tina Turner'. Possibly, 'Tina Turner' was imported by Windmill Nurseries with an accompanying name alteration. Until more is known, it is listed here as 'Australian Tina'. It was released by Windmill Nurseries in 2002. |
