Petal bases to mid centers are very light pink suffusing to light mauve pink, darkening slightly toward margins and apexes. Apical petals can have side notching and some can exhibit stigma staining. Stamens are few in number. The magenta-red style supports a magenta-pink stigma. Style stalk is contorted unlike the straight or slightly curved styles of normal flowers.
