funnel-like flowers with pale orange-red faces, midlines and deep orange-red reverses. Flowers are 4 cm. in length and 4.5 cm. in width. Petals are narrow with acute tips. Petal frontal count is 13. Pistil is pale orange red with 7 - 8 white stigma lobes. Filaments are rhodamine with yellow-orange pollen. Filaments curve inward to form a pollen tunnel around the pistil. Apple green, 0.7 cm. ovary has 5 ribs. Note: similar to R, gaertneri with a smaller flower.
