deep orange-red flowers with very pale silvery rhodamine throats. Lower petals orange red, silvery pale orange from throats to centers. Tube very pale silvery peachy rose. Upper petals are small, spatulate with acute tips. Lower petals sagittate to spatulate with obtuse tips. Flower length 8 cm. Upper width 3 cm., lower width 3.5 cm. Tube length 4 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.6 cm., small, flared, amber green. Flowers bell to reverse umbrella form. Des Ellery's description: strong color, bright orange. |
