Rhipsalidopsis Cultivar Groups

Cultivar types are based on several physical traits, i.e. form and size of phylloclades:

ROSE – small phylloclades, small flowers around 2-4 cm across in different colors. Rhipsalidopsis rosea cultivars and all small-sized Rhipsalidopsis x graeseri fall into this group.

GAER – large phylloclades from 7 up to 10 cm, large flowers from 8 cm up to 11 cm across in different colors.

GRAE – mid-sized phylloclades, mid-sized flowers around 5-7 cm across in different colors. This is the main group for commercial Rhipsalidopsis cultivars.
