| symmetrical flowers are a fuchsia pink darkening to a rose pink in the upper half. Petals are strongly recurved. Tube is white flushed light magenta pink. White filaments are gnarly and twisted carrying gray pollen coated anthers. A magenta-pink style and stigma extends just beyond the unusual stamens. Style is also twisted on some flowers. This is a sport of an unidentified S x buckleyi. Temperature sensitive. |
