upper petals lavender mauve with silvery bases and centers. Upper petals have a distinct keel line to their reverse sides. Lower petals crimson rose with darker lavender-mauve edges. Upper petals spatulate with pointed tips. Lower petals obovate with acute to obtuse tips. Tube very pale lavender mauve. Filaments tinted pale lavender mauve on their upper halves. Flower length 8 cm. Upper width 5.5 cm., lower width 4 cm. Tube length 3.5 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.75 cm., small, upturned, five angled, bronze amber. Flowers are a normal shape. Flowers mid May to early June (Australia).
