mail box red with a lighter red center stripe and rhodamine overlay at the petal bases.. Flowers are 3.5 cm. in length, 4.5 cm. in width. Petals are narrow with acute tips. Frontal view petal count is 17 - 18. Pistil is light red-pink with 6 - 7 thin white stigma lobes. Filaments are rhodamine with paler tops. Ovary is 0.8 cm., 5 ribbed, star-shaped opaque amber-green.
