Stamens with silvery white bases becoming pale red violet near the anthers with greyish pale red-violet pollen. Flowers length 8 cm. Upper width 5 cm., lower width 5.5 cm. Tube length 3.5 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.8 cm., five ribbed, pale yellowy bronze green. Long blooming season from late June to early August (Australia).
