satiny white, broad, elliptical petals are mildly tipped. Apical petals carry a deep red, thin pencil line extending half way up the petal edges from their bases. Stamens are white. Style and stigma are dark purple red. Stigma extends just beyond the anthers. This miniature is prone to flush strongly from lower growing temperatures. Ventral petals are recurved. Flowers can intermittently recurve and return to more open form. Ovary receptacle is slightly ridged. |
