a purple red in the front of petals shading to a bright purplish pink. Dorsal sides of petals are bright reddish purple. Lower centers and throats are white. Elliptical petals are sharply tipped. Tube is white (temperature sensitive). Coloration on this one could be interpreted as borderline fuchsia to mallow, but appears more mallow (LG). Flower petals recurve with maturity. Stamens are creamy white with light yellow pollen covered anthers. Style is magenta with a magenta-pink stigma that barely peeks out of the anthers. Machibito is an early flowering cultivar.
