		flowers are a soft orange red with a strong pink flush. Broad elliptic petals have acute tips. Petal bases are white suffusing light pinkish orange red, deepening along margins and apexes. Tube is white. Stamens are white. A long purple-red style supports a magenta-pink stigma extending past the anther cluster. Warmer growing temperatures results in a stronger expression of white on the petals. Mature buds are acutely tipped, pink flushed orange red.
