orange vermilion flowers with silvery throats. Lower petals vermilion rose. Tube very pale silvery rose pink. Upper petals spatulate with pointed tips. Lower petals spatulate with acute tips. Flower length 7.5 cm. Upper width 4.5 cm., lower width 5 cm. Tube length 3 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.7 cm., faintly angled, yellowish amber. Flowering mid May, early June (Australia). Normal shaped flowers.
