carmine-violet. Filaments and tube are pale silvery carmine violet. Pollen is greyish with a carmine-violet tint. Petals are obovate with cuspidate tips. Rear petals have a distinct silvery center stripe at base tapering to tip. Flower length is 6 cm. Width is 4.5 cm. Tube length is 3.5 cm. and very straight. Ovary receptacle is 4 ribbed, 0.6 cm. Blooms open early mid season.

An old S. x buckleyi hybrid that was named by Des Ellery. Was often sold as 'Princess'. Des Ellery described it as a clear color, nice shape. Small round leaf (crenate), beautiful color, slow growing at first. Des obtained two cuttings at an orchid club meeting.
