long petals are deep red along the margins and apex. The upper centers are a distinct burnt yellowish orange suffusing to a white throat. Petal margins have a tendency to slightly furl under along the lower 2/3 of the petals. Apical and basal petals are smaller than the central petals. Tube is white. Style and stigma are very deep magenta red. Stigma does not extending past the anthers.

glossy green phylloclades are slightly wavy with 4-5 pronounced dentitions along each margin to the apex. Extra apical dentition are evident on some phylloclades.
