Petal apices and margins show deep coral to crimson-red coloration, with a distinct pink-red edging that becomes more pronounced toward the tips. The outer surface of the petals displays a bright yellow midstrip. Petal coloration is strongly influenced by temperature. Petals are broad and slightly reflexed, terminating in acute to pointed tips. Floral tube white to pale pink. Corolla ring clearly visible. Pollen and anthers yellow to golden yellow. Stigma bright magenta-pink, extending slightly beyond or remaining within the anther cluster. Ovary receptacle olive green.
