flowers open with silvery pale magenta-pink throats with upper petals suffusing to carmine violet apexes and borders. Lower petals have darker magenta-pink centers. Upper petals are spatulate with cuspidate tips. Lower petals are spatulate with obtuse tips. Tube is 3.5 cm. in length, silvery, pale magenta pink. Filaments are paler silvery magenta pink. Flower length is 8 cm. Upper and lower widths are 5 cm. Ovary is 0.7 cm. with two angles (almost winged). Australian blooming season for this cultivar begins mid to late May (early).
