red (RHS 47C, flushed RHS 47B) changing to white. Centers and throats are white flushed red purple RHS 66D to petal bases; probably temperature related. McMillan and Horobin (p. 93) described the flower color as white with a rose edging (RHS 50A). Flower length is 7 cm., with a diameter of 4.5 cm. Mcm. & H describe it as shy to flower.

phylloclades are dull, dark green with dentation. Phylloclade length is 5 cm. - 6.4 cm. Growth habit is spreading, pendant. Described as a vigorous grower. Received Award of Merit 1977.
