vermilion with orange face and orange-yellow mid stripe. Flower is 3 cm. in length, 7 cm. in width. Petals are oblanceolate with pointed tips. Frontal view petal count is 15 - 16. Pistil is orange with 6 white stigma lobes. Pistil protrudes about 1 cm. beyond filaments. Filaments are orange yellow at base, to mauve, then pale silvery mauve tops. Ovary is 0.8 cm., 5 ribs, yellow-red hue and star-shaped.
