Stigma lobes open, often get caught up with crumpled tips of upper petals. Upper petals small, spatulate with cuspidate tips. Lower petals lanceolate with obtuse to cuspidate tips. Flower length 7 cm. Upper width 4.5 cm., lower width 3.5 cm. Tube length 3 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.7 cm., four angled to ribbed, reddish yellow hue. Normal shaped blooms. Flowering from early June to early August (Australia). |
