yessmall deep crimson-red flowers with a striking star-shaped appearance. Petal bases and throats are slightly lighter red, transitioning evenly into rich crimson toward the mid-petal area and intensifying at the apices. Petals are long, narrow, and strongly spreading. Upper petals have acutely pointed apices, often slightly recurved or twisted. Lower and basal petals are also pointed to acutely pointed, maintaining a consistent, spider-like form throughout the flower. Individual petals highly variable in form. Some are wiry, twisty , and coiled. The floral tube is red, slightly lighter than the petals. Pollen is pale yellow. Anthers are yellow. The stigma is light pink to pale rose and extends beyond anther cluster. The ovary receptacle is green flushed with red at anthesis.M
