upper petals open silvery pinkish white. Lower petals open silvery translucent white with a very pale magenta flush at their bases. Upper petals are elliptic with pointed tips. Lower petals are sagittate to lanceolate with cuspidate tips. Tube is 3.5 cm. in length and silvery white flushed with a very pale magenta pink. Flower length 8 cm., upper width 3 cm., lower width 4 cm. Ovary is 1 cm. with two ridges. Australian blooming season is late April and May (early bloom season).
