upper petals pale silvery carmine violet with deeper margins. Lower petals paler with whiter center stripes. Upper petals are obovate with pointed tips. Lower petals are lanceolate with acute tips. Tube and filaments very pale silvery carmine violet. Pollen reddish grey. Flower length 8 cm. Upper width 4.5 cm., lower width 5 cm. Tube length 3 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.8 cm., four ribbed to angled, apple green. Flowers are a normal winged to bell shape. Blooms mid May to early June (Australia).
