funnel form, half opened flowers have pale mauve pink petals with deeper pink bases. Flower length is 3 cm., width is 4 cm. Petals are obovate with acute to obtuse tips. Frontal view petal count is 16. Pistil is pale mauve with 5 white stigma lobes. Filaments are red violet. Ovary is 0.6 cm., with 5 fluted ribs, apple green on a funnel form. Note: R. 'China Maid' has more rounded petal tips.
