pendant flowers are bicolor: white and pink. Lanceolate petals are white from their bases to mid centers. Upper centers are a mauve-pink darkening toward the margins and apexes. Petals are acutely tipped with a very slight serration along the upper margins. The long tubes are white. Stamens are white. A magenta-red style carries a magenta-pink stigma above the anthers. Flower color is variable depending on growing conditions.
