upper petals bright magenta with pale rhodamine throats and redder petal tips. Lower petals deep rhodamine red with orange mid stripes. Rearmost lower petals/sepals have an orange reverse. Flower length 6.5 cm. Upper width 4.5 cm., lower width 6 cm. Tube length 3.5 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.7 cm., four or five ribbed, opaque green. Reverse umbrella shaped flowers. Flowering late June through late August (Australia).
Note: 1) Compared to cv.'Lipstick Pink' and 'Red Elephant', 'Viviana' is bright magenta. 'Lipstick Pink' is more rhodamine. 'Viviana' is darker with a smaller flower than cv. 'Red Elephant'. 2) 'Viviana' is thinner petalled, brighter magenta compared to cv. 'Amelia Manda's' scarlet magenta with magenta-pink petal centers. Ovary receptacle colors differ. 3) 'Viviana' has smaller flower with less silvery petal faces than cv. 'Symphony's' salmon pink sheen to the lower petals. 4) 'Viviana' exhibits less carmine rhodamine than Merv William's cv. 'Truncatus small segment'. 5) Compared to cv. 'Supreme', 'Viviana' is darker with much smaller flower.
