		red to deep red spathulate petals with pointed tips. Petal bases white flushed with pink. Throats are light crimson darkening to crimson centers and chili pepper red along margins and apexes. Tube is white. Stamens white flushed pink. The long style is magenta red with a similar colored stigma which extends well beyond the anthers.
