		arching, zygomorphic flowers have slightly twisted petals ending in sharply pointed tips. Petals are fuchsia red suffusing to a white center and throat. Tube is white. Whitish stamens hold greyish-yellow pollen covered anthers which surround a magenta style and magenta-pink stigma. Flowers are temperature sensitive. Pod receptacle is ridged.
