The margins display a dark carmine-red pencil-line edging, while the petals near the ovary bear purple tips. Stamens reach about 5 cm in length. The stigma sits within the anther cluster, with the style and stigma lobes being scarcely visible; the style measures between 1–3 cm. Petal tips are nearly blunt, with only a slight point.
