McM&H described the flowers as purple with white. The 1977 Wisely Trials described the flowers as silvery white with margins and upper half flushed RHS 74A (rich violet pink). Flowers are 5.7 cm. in length, 4.5 cm. in diameter. Note: the only picture I have seen showed a slightly zygomorphic bloom (Lee Goodfellow).

a vigorous, semi-erect, spreading growth habit becoming pendant with age. Fairly dark dull green phylloclades have hooked margins (Wisely Trials 1977). McM&H described the plant as B type with large crenate phylloclades. Distributed by Alfred Gräser from Germany (c.1959).
