light raspberry fuchsia throughout. Filaments are purplish with yellow anthers. Stigma lobes are white. The throat is a dark green and the plant is a noted late bloomer.

'China Pink' is similar in growth habit to 'Heather, but in general has larger phyllocalades and blooms that are dominated by color hues that are generally red. 'Scarlet O'Hara' is less upright than 'Heather', and in general, has smaller phylloclades and blooms. Both 'China Pink' and 'Scarlet O'Hara' are fertile whereas 'Heather' is sterile.
