upper petals deep rose red with bright magenta to red-violet centers. Lower petals with smaller centers. Tube is flushed magenta. Stamens bright silvery magenta with greyish magenta-pink pollen. Flower length 7 cm. Upper width 3.5 cm., lower width 5 cm. Tube length 3.5 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.9 cm. four ribbed, reddish purple base with bronze green top. Flowers are a normal shape. Blooming is late, beginning late July to early August (Australia).
