		broad, elliptical petals with nearly blunt tips are almost solid purple. Petal bases are white, throats and lower centers are light purple with the hue becoming darker further up the petals. Tube is white. Stamens are white with a pink tinge. Style is a purplish red with a purple-pink stigma that barely clears the anthers.
