large, pendant blooms have lanceolate, acutely tipped petals. Upper margins of petals exhibit delicate serration. Bases to mid centres are white. Margins and apexes are vivid fuchsia pink. Upper centers can show subtle color breaks of white extending up from the mid centers. Stamens are long and white. Style is magenta red. Stigma said to be initially white upon first opening with a color change after 3 days. Stigma sits amidst the anthers.

EPIG 9-3: 84-93. 1997; EPIG 15-1: 3-17. 2003phylloclades are typical S. orssichiana type, long with 3 forward facing, medium size dentations along each side. Apical dentations are largest. Areole notches are small and shallow to mildly steep. This is a pure S. orssichiana derived from wild forms.
