elliptic petals with acute tips have white bases and throats suffusing to a light orange, darkening to orange margins and pinkish orange apexes. Lower petals have a paler hue. Tube is long and white. Flowers are open with petals lacking any significant recurve. Stamens are white. Style is red. Stigma is magenta pink. Stigma barely clears the anther cluster. Intensity of hue is variable dependent on growing temperature.
