pale red violet with red-violet centers and midstripes. Flowers are 2.5 cm. in length, 3.5 cm. in width. Petals are obovate with obtuse tips. Frontal view petal count is 13. Pistil is a deep red violet with 5 white stigma lobes. Filaments are deep red violet. Ovary is 0.7 cm. with 5 angles, bright apple green on a rotate form.

Meier 1995: 22; E.B. Hoare Notes: B1-14 phylloclades are reddish edged green, flat or sometimes 3 or 4 angled segments up to 5 cm. in length, and to 1.5 cm. in width with 4 areoles per side within small crenations. Bristles are 0.5 cm in length, present in linear and lateral areoles.
