pale lavender pink to pale reddish violet with faint center line to reverse.. Flower is 3.5 cm. in length, 7 cm. in width. Petals are very reflexed, lanceolate to sagittate with acute tips. Frontal view petal count is 13. Pistil is pale lavender pink with 4 white stigma lobes. Filaments are bright reddish violet. Ovary is 0.7 cm. with 4 - 5 ribs, apple green on a rotate star shape.

Meier 1995: 23; E.B. Hoare Notes: B1-17dark green phylloclades have a reddish purple edge with small areoles sitting along the segment edge and not in crenations. Lateral areoles have 1 or 2 bristles with longer yellowish brown hair-like bristles in linear areole. Note: similar to cv's. 'Mauvette' & 'Prairie Rosea' except: 1) almost identical to cv. 'Mauvette' without the darker red-violet lines in petals and different growth habit. 2) ovary form differs and there are less stigma lobes than cv. 'Prairie Rosea', with slightly smaller flowers.
