red violet with deep, bright magenta flush. Tube and filaments pale magenta pink. Ovary receptacle 4-5 angled. Upper petals red violet with deep red violet to bright magenta on petal faces. Lower petals with silvery salmon sheen. Tube and filaments pale magenta pink. Flower length 7 cm. Upper width 5.5 cm., lower width 6.5 cm. Tube length 3 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.8 cm., four or five angled, pale greenish amber. Reverse umbrella shaped flowers. Blooms late June to August (Australia). A large two-tone flower with a silvery orange reverse to lower petals. Note: 'Symphony' has a paler, larger flower than cv. 'Viviana'. |
