reddish carmine with carmine-violet hue to upper petals. Lower petals have pale carmine-violet centers. Petal edges are finely serrated. Rear petals do not have a carmine-violet hue.Flower length 7.5 cm. Upper width 5.5 cm., lower width 5 cm. Tube length 3.5 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.9 cm., five angled, yellow amber to amber green. Flower shape is reverse umbrella. Flowers in June (Australia). Note: compared with cv. 'Bridgesii', 'Electra' is paler, flower is smaller without the silvery white tube and color is more reddish carmine than the deep rose red of 'Bridgesii'.
