| upper petals bright magenta pink with red-violet overlay and silvery magenta-pink throats. Lower petals are slightly redder. Flower length to 7 cm. Upper width 3.5 cm., lower width 4 cm. Tube length 3.5 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.8 cm., four angled, greenish to deep reddish hue. Blooms late May to late July. Note: slightly darker than cv. 'Ballerina' and longer with deep hued ovary receptacles. Note: 'D2' is slightly darker than cv. 'Ballerina'. Flower is longer, tube is not as silvery and petal faces are more silvery magenta pink than cv. 'Ballerina'. |
