Upper petals lanceolate with pointed tips. Lower petals long obovate with obtuse tips. Tube silvery white with magenta-pink tinge. Flower length 8 cm. Width 3 cm. Tube length 3.5 cm. Ovary receptacle 1 cm., faintly four angled, deep yellow to bronze green with reddish hue. Winged to butterfly shape flowers. Late May mid June flowering (Australia). Note: later flowering than cv. 'Red with Purple Edge No.1' (Betty Winton). Larger flower with more recurved lower petals than cv. 'Robert's Bicolour'. | |
