star-shaped flowers are pale reddish violet with darker red violet lines. Flowers are 4 cm. in length, 6 cm. in width. Petals are elliptic with acute to pointed tips. Frontal view petal count is 13. Pistil is pale red violet with 4 - 6 small white stigma lobes. Filaments are deep red violet incurved around the pistil. Ovary is 0.6 cm., 4 ribbed, pale apple green on a star shape.
