1 cm. long buds have medium to dark pink tips. 1.5 cm. buds have an acute tip. Flowers are medium to broad in width. Petals are broad, with a lighter base ranging between blue violet (RHS 69C) to peachy orange (RHS 27D). No middle zone, the border between zones is diffuse. Medium to large marginal zone is purplish (RHS N74B-N74C). Stamens are medium length showing white filaments. Stigma is white. Pod is greenish red.

PBRmany of the second order phylloclades are short to medium in length, broad, light green. There is a weak tendency for development of a red margin. Tendency to form wings on some phylloclades is weak with such growths small and sparsely bristled.
