red to orange red, paler on the face. Flowers are 3.5 cm. in length, 5 cm. in width. Petals are narrow with pointed tips. Frontal view petal count is 15. Pistil is orange red with 7 - 8 white stigma lobes protruding 1 cm. beyond the filaments. Filaments are red violet, paler at their tops. Ovary is 0.7 cm. with 5 ribs, pale opaque bronze green on a rotate shape.
