		long, elliptal, acutely tipped petals have white bases and lower throats suffusing to light orange-red centers, more vivid along margins and apexes. Tube is white fused with light pink. Bloom color is temperature sensitive. Stamens are white on upper halves, tinged pink on the lower halves. A long,magenta-red style supports a similar color stigma carried just beyond the anther cluster.
