pale red violet with mauve edge, reverse red violet with pale mauve edging. Flower is 3 cm. in length, 4 cm. in width. Petals are narrow with acute tips. Frontal view petal count is 16. Pistil is red violet with 5 white stigma lobes. Filaments are deep red violet to bright purple, incurved at their tops. Ovary is 0.7 cm. with 4 angles, pale apple green on a rotate shape. Note: distinctive coloration with the pale edge standing out giving a two tone effect.
