upper petals have small silvery throats suffusing through pale lavender rose centers to deep lavender rose edges. Lower petals have large silvery white centers and deep lavender-rose edges. Upper petals are spatulate with pointed tips. Lower petals are sagittate with acute tips. Tube is silvery white with pale lavender rose overlay. Flower length 8 cm. Upper width 3.5 cm, lower width 5.5 cm. Tube length 3 cm. Ovary receptacle 1.2 cm., elongated, upturned, faintly four angled, pinkish magenta, greener near base petals. Flower shape normal to winged. Blooms mid April to early May (Australia).
