relatively large flowers with an average diameter of 6 cm. with acutely tipped lanceolate red petals (RHS 45A). Flowers are similar to the cultivar R. 'Cetus'. Long blooming season from late January to June with an average flower life of 14 days. Initially in the first days of opening, flowers will close at night.

USPPphylloclades are slightly smaller than R. 'Rio'. Phylloclades are 4-5.5 cm. in length and 2-2.7 cm. in width. Noted for its strong, upright growth pattern.
