vermilion red with an orange mid stripe 1/2 way to the tip. Red-violet edging to half the petal bases. Flowers are 2.5 cm. in length and 4.5 cm. in width. Frontal view petal count is 14. Petals are narrow, oblanceolate with acute tips. Petal tips recurve or curl at their tips.Pistil is vermilion red with 7 whitish stigma lobes with a vermilion red line to the underside. Filaments are red violet, paler at their tips. Ovary is 0.6 cm., 5 ribbed, opaque bronze amber on a star shape.
