large pendant flowers have lanceolate, acutely tipped petals. Petals are white from bases to lower upper centers. Upper regions are ruby pink darkening to deep ruby pink along margins and apexes. Tubes are arched and white.
A purple-pink style and similar color stigma extends just beyond the anthers. Des Ellery described it as "pink tone ruby red from top center half of petals to their edges. Lower halves are white."
